We are delighted to present our cattery Precious Love* Ro with adorable and loving British shorthair cats, who bring us a lot of joy and to the families who choose their cats from us, special families who sincerely wish to have a genuine, fluffy, playful teddy-bear type British kitten in their home to grow up with them and their children.
Our story began in 2020 with our first lilac British cat Lovely Queen of Trodos who quickly became a passion, so we brought two more cats into our home, Vanessa Paradis of Outstanding Cats*Ro and Hera of Outstanding Cats*Ro, and kept some of the kittens we had from them. In 2024 we brought a cream-bicolor tomcat from Poland, Nice Million Reasons*Pl, who will be the father of our future kittens.
Our cattery Precious Love*Ro from Brasov created out of pure passion and love for british cats is a family cattery, boutique founded in 2021, our cats have FIFE Pedigree, issued by the International Feline Federation, to which we are affiliated through the feline club Sofisticat Romania.
Our cats are carefully selected based on aesthetic and health criteria coming from good genetic lines from British shorthair cats from Europe: Poland, Germany, Bulgaria and Romania verified by Pedigree. We are passionate about variety of color and combinations, that’s why we have cats and kittens in different colors: blue, lilac, cinnamon, chocolate, black, cream, red, bicolor, tortoise, and calico.
The health of the cats is our number one priority, that’s why our cats are tested for PKD and HCM, Fiv, Felv, blood group, genetic tests are done in feline genetic laboratories in Europe (Langfordvets in the UK and Laboklin in Germany).
We have 6 females and 2 males who live with us in our spacious house, we have a 120 sq m apartment dedicated exclusively to cats with all the conditions and we are very soon setting up a catio an outdoor cat house in the garden.
Our kittens are raised with us and with their mother until the age of 3-4 months to form a strong immune system, to develop their character and emotional side in such a way that the accommodation in the new family is as easy as possible. When the kittens arrive to their new families they are mature enough and educated not to develop fears, they are vaccinated, dewormed and have a microchip.
We have a process of selecting future parents so that the kittens end up in responsible and loving families who can also afford to provide them with all the conditions they need, love, premium food and care they deserve. For those interested in our British Shorthair cats, they can travel to a Europe by plane or car accompanied by a trusted person at the age of 4 months, having the 21 days elapsed since the mandatory rabies vaccination to travel to another country, a valid passport with a microchip.
If you wish a kitten from us please write a few words about your family and why you want a cat, if you have a preference for color or sex. We will answer you and if we have British kittens we can decide together which kitten would be the most suitable for your family or if we don’t have one you can wait for the next litter.

First days in the new home: The kitten arrives in a clean room with the new family, the cat’s toilet door must be taken down for a few weeks, all the cat’s equipment must be in a room with the cat, so that it gets used to the new home. The cat’s toilet will be kept at a distance from the food and the place where the cat drinks water. In the first 2 days, it could be slightly scared and will hide in a corner under the curtains, or on a shelf behind objects. It must be left quietly to get used to the new things, smells, people. Do not make a fuss so as not to stress it out further. Enter it without making any noise, and check that it is well, if it has eaten and drunk, if it has peed and pooped. You can easily move a bell toy or something to attract it to come out of its hiding place. In a few days, it will get used to it and you will be able to enjoy it, and easily leave it throughout the apartment.
British shorthair is a breed with a calm and gentle character, it is loving with people around it.
